"It’ll be a late start if you’re planning on watching St Louis take on San Jose, the Sharks probably more than anyone will not want to go 3-1 down, considering how dominant the Blues can be at home."

We've an identical situation in each of the four series on show this evening, with the home teams all currently 2-1 down looking to even things up. Lose again tonight, and those teams will be in serious trouble, facing elimination in Game 5. The first of those games will be New Jersey hosting Florida at the Prudential Center; the Panthers have all the momentum after overturning a 3-0 deficit to win 4-3 in Game 3. Florida are far out at 3.50 to get the victory in regulation, but they’re not here by fluke, so could be worth a flutter.

Elsewhere, Mikkel Boedker scored the goal as overtime was needed yet again to separate the Phoenix Coyotes from the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday. There are odds of 2.20 on there being under 4.5 total goals this time around, and as the pressure builds on both teams we should expect the matches to get even tighter, it’s also 3.70 to go past three periods for the fourth time.

Reigning Stanley Cup Champions the Boston Bruins will be against the Washington Capitals. The two Alex’s – Ovechkin and Semin – showed good form for the Caps last time out but Nicklas Backstrom; who has been their most consistent performer, picked up a needless one game suspension and misses out this time. Take Boston here at 2.25 to win in regulation.

It’ll be a late start if you’re planning on watching St Louis take on San Jose, the Sharks probably more than anyone will not want to go 3-1 down, considering how dominant the Blues can be at home. San Jose are 1.92 to tie the series including overtime.

Best Bet: Fewer than 4.5 total goals in Chicago Blackhawks versus Phoenix Coyotes.
